1 year agoPaul Craig suffered a third-round submission loss to Brendan Allen at UFC Vegas 82, which served as Craig's first main event. Craig was badly outstruck on the feet and also went 0-for-2 on takedowns, while he failed to defend any of Allen's takedown attempts, which led to the American having nearly eight minutes of control. After being dominated for two full rounds, Craig ended up getting submitted in the third round to drop to 9-7-1 in the UFC and 17-7-1 overall. He's also now 1-1 since dropping down to middleweight and will likely get an unranked opponent next time out.--Cole Shelton
