6 years agoThe New England Patriots released running back Kenjon Barner on Thursday in order to make room on the 53-man roster for wide receiver Julian Edelman, who is returning from a four-game suspension for performance-enhancing drugs. Barner has already been released twice by the Pats this year. With Rex Burkhead on Injured Reserve, rookie Sony Michel and James White are the only running backs on the active roster.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
