Patriots Officially Trade For Josh Gordon
6 years agoThe New England Patriots acquired wide receiver Josh Gordon from the Cleveland Browns on Monday in exchange for a fifth-round pick, according to sources. If Gordon isn't active for 10 games, the Patriots will receive a late-round pick from the Browns. While Gordon is still an off-the-field risk, his upside is deniable, and his fantasy value is on the rise with a move to New England. It remains to be seen if he can stay on track, avoid distractions and learn this complicated offense, but his ceiling could be huge working with quarterback Tom Brady. A return of Julian Edelman from suspension in Week 5 might complicate matters, but Gordon should be stashed for now in all leagues.
