Patrick Mahomes Named Top Offensive Player
6 years agoKansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was named the 2018 Associated Press NFL Offensive Player of the Year on Saturday. The second-year signal caller finished with a league-high 50 touchdowns and only 12 interceptions on the year while throwing multiple TDs in 14 games. He completed 383 passes in 580 attempts (66 percent) for 5,097 yards (318.6 per game). Mahomes beat out Drew Brees, DeAndre Hopkins and Todd Gurley for the award. The upside remains huge and he'll be the first QB taken in fantasy drafts moving forward.
