5 years agoKansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes (knee) and defensive end Frank Clark (neck) are both inactive for Week 9 against the Vikings. Mahomes was a game-time decision, but the Chiefs are playing it safe with their star quarterback. There's a good chance he returns in Week 10 to face the Titans. When he's back, Mahomes will be a surefire high-end QB1 and will raise the ceiling of all of his offensive weapons. Matt Moore will make his second straight start, but he's more of a low-end QB2. Clark's absence is good news for Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins, who has been on a roll of late. Cornerback Kendall Fuller (thumb) is also inactive, but defensive tackle Chris Jones (groin) will return to action in this one.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
