Patrick Mahomes Crowned 2018 MVP
6 years agoKansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was named the Associated Press 2018 Most Valuable Player on Saturday. Mahomes was also named the Offensive Player of the Year in a season in which he threw for 5,097 yards, 50 touchdowns and only 12 interceptions in his first full season as KC's starter. The 23-year-old can do things on the football field that most people thought were impossible. His sheer athleticism and leadership make him a rising star in the NFL in a Chiefs offense that continues to improve. Mahomes will unquestionably be the first quarterback off the board in 2019 drafts after his excellent 2018 campaign.
