5 years agoKansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes (knee) was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday. Mahomes has made good progress from a dislocated kneecap, but he was inactive last week and isn't a lock to return in Week 9 against the Vikings. Week 10 is the more realistic target date for the superstar quarterback, but we won't know for sure if Mahomes has a chance to play this Sunday until later in the week. He'd obviously be worth returning to all starting lineups if he's active this weekend, despite the tough matchup. Matt Moore looked good against Green Bay in Week 8, but he'll be a low-end QB2 if he's forced to make another start. Those that own Tyreek Hill, Travis Kelce and LeSean McCoy would love to see Mahomes return as soon as possible.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
