Patrick Corbin Gets Game 4 Of World Series
5 years agoThe Washington Nationals announced starting pitcher Patrick Corbin as their Game 4 starter of the World Series against the Astros on Saturday. Houston might be opposing Corbin with a bit of a bullpen game, depending on what happens in Game 3 on Friday with Houston down by two games. Corbin has given up 11 earned runs in 14 1/3 innings (6.91 ERA) with 10 walks and 28 strikeouts over two starts and four relief outings this postseason. That's not what you want to be looking at going into a matchup with the Astros, even if they are a bit cold at the moment. Houston ranked second in the American League this year with an .868 OPS against southpaws. Corbin won't be a popular DFS pick for Game 4, and he could be on a short leash.
