Panthers Want To Give D.J. Moore More Work
6 years agoCarolina Panthers head coach Ron Rivera said the team "has to put more on D.J. Moore's plate." The rookie wideout has just two targets on the season (both coming in Week 2), and he caught his only pass against the Falcons for a 51-yard score in the loss. Moore has the most long-term upside of this receiving group (including Devin Funchess), but so far he hasn't been that involved in the offense. It doesn't help that Carolina's offense is beat up and ineffective. The 21-year-old should start to see more work as the season progresses, but right now he's not a realistic starting option for fantasy owners.
