Panthers Waive C.J. Anderson
6 years agoThe Carolina Panthers waived running back C.J. Anderson on Monday. Anderson just wasn't being used much behind workhorse Christian McCaffrey, as he was averaging just six snaps per game. McCaffrey has played 96.3 percent of the offensive snaps in nine games, which is more than any running back in the league. Anderson had only 24 carries for 104 yards and one catch for a 24-yard touchdown. Cameron Artis-Payne will now be the direct handcuff for McCaffrey owners. CAP has been active for only two games this season and hasn't touched the ball at all.
