Pereira survived some early adversity and even suffered a knockdown in the second round before turning things around. "Poatan" pushed the pace fourth round and drew the finish with two vicious body shots to retain his belt. While Rountree Jr. didn't walk away as the new light heavyweight champion, he did have a good performance, as he won the first two rounds on the judges' cards, and even managed to drop Pereira in the second round. Rountree Jr. started to gas out in the third round and then suffered a massive amount of damage. Despite a valiant effort to pull off the upset, Rountree Jr. was finished in the fourth round after Pereira landed a pair of body shots. 1 month agoKetlen Vieira suffered a unanimous decision loss to Kayla Harrison in the co-main event of UFC 306 on Saturday. Vieira opened a cut on Harrison's forehead with an elbow, but other than that, Harrison was dominant as she went 2-for-8 on takedowns and scored 7:54 minutes of control time. Dolidze secured a takedown in the middle of the first round, and when Holland attempted to escape the danger, he twisted his body, injuring his rib in the process. Dolidze continued with ground-and-pound, but Holland managed to survive to the bell. When the second round was about to start, Holland's corner threw in the towel and the fight was stopped. In 5 minutes of action, Dolidze landed a takedown and 19 significant strikes. By defeating Holland, Dolidze improved to 14-3 as a pro and 8-3 in the UFC.Source: UFC
