DeVonta Smith (hamstring) was a limited participant in practice on Tuesday. Smith did not participate in Monday's walk through so his activity on Tuesday suggests that it was all maintenance related. Additionally, Smith has been dealing with the injury for a couple of weeks and it did not prohibit him from playing in Week 10. Smith was quiet in Week 10. He recorded just two receptions for 14 yards in the Eagles' blowout win in Dallas. It is unclear if his injury was affecting his play but Smith managers will be hoping for better days to come. Smith has 37 receptions for 487 yards and four touchdowns in eight games this season. His overall fantasy production has been relatively inconsistent but he is still the WR22 in PPR formats. Smith has a solid chance to get back on track in Week 11 against the Washington Commanders.

Dallas Goedert returned from a three-game absence due to a hamstring injury to play in the Week 10 win over the division-rival Dallas Cowboys. When Goedert was sidelined, Stoll was serving as the No. 2 TE for the Eagles behind
Grant Calcaterra. In seven games for Philly this year, Stoll had only two catches on three targets for 10 yards, and he has yet to score a touchdown in 57 games (28 starts) since debuting with the Eagles in 2021. If the 26-year-old is not claimed off waivers by another team, he could find himself back on the Eagles' practice squad in short order. If Stoll is claimed by another team, he'll likely operate as TE depth and won't suddenly become fantasy relevant.

1 day agoThe Miami Dolphins claimed linebacker Tyrel Dodson off waivers from the Seattle Seahawks on Tuesday after the Seahawks surprisingly waived him on Monday, according to a source. Dodson was leading the Seahawks with 71 tackles through the first 10 weeks of the season, in addition to two sacks, and had started every game. It's no surprise that he was quickly picked up off waivers, and the 26-year-old will now head to the AFC East division. He will be joining a linebacking corps in Miami that includes Jordyn Brooks, Anthony Walker and David Long. Based on how well Dodson was playing before being cut by Seattle, he figures to have a prominent role on defense with his new club. The Texas A&M alum debuted in 2020 with the Buffalo Bills and spent his first four seasons in Buffalo, recording 143 tackles (102 solo), 4.5 sacks, four pass breakups, a forced fumble and two fumble recoveries in 59 games (15 starts).

Michael Mayer (personal) has returned to practice this week and could be available to play this Sunday in Week 11 against the Miami Dolphins. The Raiders are coming off their bye week, but Mayer has missed the team's last six games while tending to personal matters. If Mayer is cleared to play this week, he may not see the field as much as he normally would as he works himself back into shape. Hamilton suffered an ankle sprain in the Week 10 win over the Cincinnati Bengals and could be questionable or ruled out later this week for Sunday's contest. The 2022 first-round pick out of Notre Dame has tallied 71 tackles, two sacks, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, and seven passes defended this season. He is the No. 4 defensive back in fantasy points this year. The Baltimore secondary has allowed the most passing yards per game (294.9) this season, so his absence could make things worse for the struggling unit.

However, teams playing on Sunday are not required to release injury reports until Wednesday, so it's early in the week and too early to tell if he could be available. Likely opened the 2024 season with a nine-catch performance, but he has caught four or fewer passes in all other games this year. Adam Thielen from Injured Reserve. Johnson went unselected in the 2023 NFL Draft out of Northwestern and has spent time on the Cowboys and Panthers practice squad. Matthews, who began his career as a wide receiver out of Vanderbilt in 2014, has been with Carolina since 2023, but he only played in one game for the organization. These moves do not have any fantasy football impact.

2 days agoPittsburgh Steelers linebacker Nick Herbig (hamstring) is expected to play in Sunday's divisional showdown against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 11, according to head coach Mike Tomlin. However, linebacker Alex Highsmith (ankle) will not be available and is considered week-to-week after suffering an ankle injury in the Week 10 win over the Washington Commanders. Herbig has missed the last four games after injuring his hamstring in the Week 5 win over the Dallas Cowboys but should return this weekend to help replace Highsmith, who could very well miss multiple weeks with what looked like a serious ankle injury. The 22-year-old Herbig was looking good in the first five games in just his second NFL season before his injury, recording 2.5 sacks, eight tackles (six solo) and a forced fumble.

2 days agoThe Kansas City Chiefs designated defensive end Charles Omenihu (knee) to return to practice this week, according to a source, which means he could be activated from Injured Reserve and make his 2024 season debut in Week 11 against the Buffalo Bills after tearing his ACL in the AFC Championship game against the Baltimore Ravens last year. The Chiefs will have 21 days to officially activate Omenihu, otherwise he will not be able to play the rest of the season. The 27-year-old pass-rusher picked up seven sacks in 11 games in his first year with the Chiefs in 2023 and would give KC another pass-rushing option alongside Chris Jones, George Karlaftis and the recently acquired Joshua Uche. Whether Omenihu is able to return this weekend against Buffalo will likely depend on how much he does in practices from Wednesday through Friday.

Thielen has missed the team's last seven games after injuring his right hamstring while scoring a touchdown in the win over the Las Vegas Raiders back in Week 3. The Panthers are on their bye in Week 11, so we won't see Thielen back in game action until Week 12 versus the Kansas City Chiefs. The 34-year-old should be heavily involved in Carolina's passing attack when he returns, especially with
Diontae Johnson now in Pittsburgh. Before his injury in Week 3, the two-time Pro Bowler caught eight of his 12 targets for 109 yards and a touchdown in his three games. played. Isiah Pacheco (leg) to return from Injured Reserve on Tuesday, opening his 21-day window to officially activate him from IR. Pacheco fractured his right fibula on Sept. 15 and has been on IR ever since, but he's eligible to return whenever the Chiefs feel he's ready. While the 25-year-old can now return to practice, the Chiefs aren't going to rush him and he's unlikely to return for the Week 11 game this Sunday on the road against the Buffalo Bills. In a best-case scenario, the Chiefs are hoping to get Pacheco back toward the end of November, so they could use his entire 21-day practice window before activating him. Pacheco will be a must-start RB1 in fantasy when he returns, but until then,
Kareem Hunt will continue to serve as the Chiefs' lead back. Hunt has been money with Pacheco out, averaging 15.6 half-PPR fantasy points in his six games.
