Gorimbo entered the bout as the favorite as he was on a two-fight winning streak, but the bout didn't see much action. Gorimbo took Brahimaj down five times and controlled him for over 10 minutes to win the fight with control time, while also landing 110 strikes. 4 months agoEdson Barboza suffered a decision loss to Lerone Murphy in the main event of UFC Vegas 92 on Saturday. Barboza entered the bout on a two-fight winning streak but was the underdog. In the fight, Barboza struggled from the get-go as Murphy was the faster and more active striker. The Brazilian also struggled to defend takedowns and he finished the fight being outstruck 259-to-79 and was taken down four times as he was controlled for over five minutes. Since moving to welterweight, Buckley has won four fights in a row. In 15 minutes of action, Buckley landed four takedowns and 86 significant strikes. With the win, Buckley improved to 19-6 and is now 9-4 in the UFC. After three rounds, the scores were 30-27, 30-26, and 29-27, all in favor of Buckley. In 15 minutes of action, Ruziboev landed 31 significant strikes. 30-year-old Ruziboev dropped to 34-9-2, 2 NC. 4 months agoScoring the third-fastest finish in UFC light heavyweight history, Carlos Ulberg scored a 12-second knockout over Alonzo Menifield at UFC St. Louis on Saturday. Ulberg has now won his last six fights, scoring four knockouts and one submission stoppage along the way, and is most likely going to land somewhere in the top 15. From the opening bell, Menifield charged at Ulberg, only to be caught by Ulberg's left hook. In 12 seconds of action, Ulberg landed seven significant strikes.
