5 days agoSacramento Kings forward Keegan Murray (ankle) is questionable for Saturday's game versus the Lakers. The 24-year-old has been dealing with left ankle soreness of late. It kept him out of a recent meeting with the Nuggets. However, he was back on the floor against the Lakers on Thursday night, the first of consecutive games between the clubs. Sacramento will face Indiana on Sunday evening, so Murray could sit this one out to rest. If that's the case, Doug McDermott, amassing 16 points when Murray was out versus Denver, could find himself back in the starting lineup. But with Trey Lyles (calf), who is questionable, potentially returning from a 10-game layoff, McDermott could see less than the 27 minutes he received on Thursday, significantly lowering his fantasy ceiling and streaming value.Source: NBA Injury Report
5 days agoPhoenix Suns guard Devin Booker (groin) has been ruled out ahead of Saturday's game against the Detroit Pistons. This comes after Booker exited early on Thursday due to a groin injury. The severity of the issue is unclear, but Booker will at least miss Saturday's game. His next chance to get on the court will be Monday versus the Denver Nuggets. The Suns will likely use a committee approach to help fill the void left by the superstar guard. Out of everyone, Royce O'Neale and Grayson Allen figure to gain the most fantasy value. Both players are possible streaming options with Booker unavailable on Saturday. O'Neale has been playing well lately and is the slightly better short term option between the two.Source: NBA Injury Report
5 days agoUtah Jazz guard Keyonte George (ankle) is listed as questionable for Saturday night's game against the Brooklyn Nets. George is listed as having a left ankle sprain. He's only missed one game this season so fantasy managers should be hopeful he's able to fight through this. George put up 28 points against Detroit on Thursday night while going 7-13 from deep. He should have another interesting matchup against Brooklyn if he's able to go. If not, expect Jordan Clarkson and Johnny Juzang to get more usage in Utah's offense. Clarkson should be prioritized as the more reliable fantasy option.Source: NBA Injury Report
5 days agoDetroit Pistons forward Isaiah Stewart (knee) has been ruled out ahead of Saturday's game against the Phoenix Suns. This doesn't come as much of a shock after Stewart hyperextended his left knee during Monday's game. As a result, Stewart will miss his second straight game, so his next chance to play will be against the Los Angeles Lakers on Monday. Paul Reed figures to serve as the backup center while Stewart is out. Reed finished with 12 points and nine rebounds across 17 minutes on Thursday. That was a solid outing from Reed, but he 's unlikely to match that same performance on Saturday.Source: NBA Injury Report
5 days agoDetroit Pistons guard Jaden Ivey (knee) is currently listed as probable ahead of Saturday's game against the Phoenix Suns. It appears Ivey is trending towards getting back on the court following a two-game absence due to left knee soreness. If active, Ivey figures to return to his regular role in the starting five. The 22-year-old hasn't been the best fantasy option lately, but is worth holding due to his upside. Ivey is going to continue getting nearly 30 minutes per game, so hopefully he gets back into a rhythm soon. The return of Ivey would likely mean that Malik Beasley sees a reduced role.Source: NBA Injury Report
5 days agoChicago Bulls guard Josh Giddey (ankle) is listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Boston Celtics. Giddey sprained his right ankle on Monday night against Toronto and was forced to miss Thursday's game against Boston. Chicago didn't need him on Thursday as they skated to a 117-108 upset win against the Celtics. Giddey has averaged 11.9 PPG, 6.4 RPG and 6.9 APG this season. While the points aren't intriguing, he's bringing fantasy value in terms of rebounds and assists. If he's active fantasy managers should only expect value from his rebounds and assists. In his only matchup against Boston this season he scored just four points but put up eight rebounds and nine assists. If he misses Saturday, expect Patrick Williams and Ayo Dosunmu to get extended playing time.Source: NBA Injury Report
5 days agoDallas Mavericks guard Jaden Hardy (ankle) has been ruled out ahead of Saturday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers. Unsurprisingly, Hardy will miss another game which marks five in a row due to sprained right ankle. His absence hurts a little more with fellow guard Luka Doncic (heel) also sidelined on Saturday. However, Kyrie Irving (shoulder) is making his return to the court and he should see a heavy workload. Also, Spencer Dinwiddie and Quentin Grimes should see increased roles with Doncic and Hardy missing at least one more game. Both Dinwiddie and Grimes are worth a look as low-end streaming options.Source: NBA Injury Report
5 days agoDallas Mavericks guard Kyrie Irving (shoulder) has been removed from the injury report ahead of Saturday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers. Irving sat out of Thursday's game, but was able to practice on Friday without any issues. That being said, Irving will be back in the mix on Saturday, which is good news for the Mavs who will be without Luka Doncic (heel) for the second straight game. Irving figures to take on a bigger workload and a majority of the ball handling. Fantasy managers should make sure to get him in their lineups on Saturday.Source: NBA Injury Report
5 days agoAtlanta Hawks guard Trae Young (heel) is listed as questionable for Saturday night's game against the Memphis Grizzlies. Young is dealing with a right heel contusion and was previously listed on the injury report with a heel injury but hasn't missed any time since early November. Young has been scoring less lately, compared to his career norms, but has been facilitating Atlanta's offense at a high level with 12.2 APG on the season. If he's forced to miss time, expect Bogdan Bogdanovic to get increased playing time. Bogdanovic has averaged 11.9 PPG and shot 34.2% from three in his last 12 games back from injury. He would certainly see a boost in Young's absence and should be a target for fantasy managers and DFS players alike if Young can't suit up.Source: NBA Injury Report
5 days agoMemphis Grizzlies guard Marcus Smart (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Saturday night against the Atlanta Hawks. Smart is dealing with a shoulder injury that caused him to miss Thursday night's 144-93 win over the Golden State Warriors. The veteran had played in 10 straight games before missing Thursday night's action. In those 10 games Smart has mainly been coming off the bench for Memphis, averaging 10.4 PPG and 4.1 APG in that span. With Ja Morant listed as doubtful, Memphis will be hopeful that Smart is able to play through the pain. If not, expect more playing time for Scottie Pippen Jr. and increased usage for Jaylen Wells.Source: NBA Injury Report
5 days agoMemphis Grizzlies guard Ja Morant (back) is listed as doubtful for Saturday night's game against the Atlanta Hawks. Morant injured his back in the third quarter of the Grizzlies' 144-93 obliteration of the Golden State Warriors on Thursday night. The 25-year-old had previously been listed on the injury report with back soreness but was able to play three games in a row. He exited early in the third quarter on Thursday after falling hard on a contested layup. Fantasy managers should expect Scottie Pippen Jr. to slide into the starting lineup. Pippen will make an intriguing fantasy and DFS option as a starter as he's averaged 14.3 PPG and 5.9 APG when he's in the starting lineup.Source: NBA Injury Report
5 days agoDallas Mavericks guard Luka Doncic (heel) has been ruled out ahead of Saturday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers. The superstar guard will miss his second game in a row due to a left heel contusion. The good news is that Doncic was able to do some work on the court during Friday's practice. This doesn't sound like something that is going to sideline Doncic for too long. Fellow guard Kyrie Irving (shoulder) is returning on Saturday, so he figures to see a heavier workload. Also, Spencer Dinwiddie and Quentin Grimes should see increased roles, which make them worth looking at in deep leagues.Source: NBA Injury Report
5 days agoLos Angeles Lakers center Anthony Davis (elbow) is listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Sacramento Kings. Davis is no stranger to the injury report but the left elbow injury is a new injury for the 31-year-old. Davis has fought through many of his injuries this season and has only missed one game. Given his ability to fight through injuries this season, and the fact the elbow injured isn't on his shooting side, fantasy managers should be hopeful that he'll be able to play through this one. The big man's averaged 27.5 PPG and 11.7 RPG this season, one of his best seasons since he finished third in the 2017-18 MVP race. Lakers fans will want Davis active as he grabbed 18 boards against the Kings on Thursday night. If he's unable to go, expect Christian Koloko to get more playing time.Source: NBA Injury Report
5 days agoLos Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James (foot) is listed as questionable for Saturday's rematch against the Sacramento Kings. James is dealing with a foot injury that caused him to miss two games earlier this month before being able to return for the next two. Los Angeles has won both games in James' return and needs him on the court to be able to compete. The future hall of famer has averaged 22.6 PPG, 7.9 RPG and 9.0 APG this season. Should he be starting he is a must start in all fantasy formats. If he's forced to miss time, expect Gabe Vincent to slide into the starting lineup. Vincent has started four games this season and has averaged just 7.8 PPG in those starts. He will not be a viable starter if James can't go.Source: NBA Injury Report
5 days agoPhiladelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid (face) will play against Charlotte on Friday. He has been upgraded from questionable to available and will start alongside Tyrese Maxey, Kelly Oubre Jr., Paul George, and Kenyon Martin Jr. Health issues have limited Embiid to only 29.3 minutes per game across six appearances in 2024-25. However, he has still been productive, with averages of 20.3 points, 7.7 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 1.0 blocks. Embiid tore the Hornets apart a season ago, as he went for 37.5 points and 12.5 boards in the matchup.Source: Adam Aaronson
