After their last fight ended in a draw, Shevchenko had a dominant performance where she reclaimed the title by having 16 minutes of control time. In 25 minutes, Shevchenko landed eight takedowns and 45 significant strikes, compared to Grasso who landed only one takedown and 18 significant strikes. Now with Grasso winning the first fight, and Shevchenko winning this one plus one draw, the argument could be made for the fourth fight.

2 months agoAlexa Grasso suffered a unanimous decision loss to Valentina Shevchenko in the co-main event of UFC 306 on Saturday. The matchups between Grasso and Shevchenko marked the first women's trilogy in UFC history. Aside from a few submission attempts from Grasso, Shevchenko was dominant as she went 8-for-12 on takedowns and scored 16 minutes of control time. In 25 minutes, Grasso landed only one takedown and 18 significant strikes. With the loss, Grasso is now 8-4-1 in the UFC.

2 months agoOde Osbourne (12-8) suffered a decision loss to Ronaldo Rodriguez at UFC 306 on Saturday. Osbourne started strong as he dropped Rodriguez in the first round. However, in the second round, he was dominated as he as controlled for over four minutes as Rodriguez landed heavy shots, which resulted in two judges giving him a 10-8 round. In the third round, both Osbourne and Rodriguez didn't throw many strikes, and when the final bell rang, the judges gave Rodriguez the win. With the loss, Osbourne is now 4-6 in the UFC and has lost three straight fights, and could be released.

2 months agoRonaldo Rodriguez (17-2) picked up a decision win over Ode Osbourne to open up the UFC 306 main card on Saturday. After dropping the first round as Rodriguez got dropped, he took over in the second round. He dominated the second round as he had over four minutes of control and got a 10-8 round on two of the judges' scorecards. Rodriguez then did enough in the third, in a lackluster fight to win a decision and improve to 2-0 in the UFC.

2 months agoDaniel Zellhuber (15-2) suffered a split decision loss to Esteban Ribovics on the main card of UFC 306. Zellhuber entered the bout as the favorite, and he got into a war with Ribovics. Zellhuber and Ribovics stood in the pocket and traded shots, as the first two rounds were even. In the third round, Zellhuber slowed down as he was outstruck 92-to-43, which resulted in him losing a split decision. With the loss, Zellhuber is now 3-2 in the UFC and had his three-fight winning streak snapped.
