P.J. Washington To Play Versus OKC
10 months agoAccording to Dallas Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd, forward PJ Washington will play on Saturday versus the Thunder. Washington has shown flashes of promise since entering the league in 2019. He's averaged 13.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 1.0 blocks in 304 games with the Hornets. However, the 25-year-old hasn't had a consistent role in Charlotte over the last season or two. But Washington could carve out a routine spot in the Mavs' rotation, even if he doesn't start consistently, which is good news for his fantasy outlook in Dallas. Of course, he'll need to battle Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving for offensive chances. Yet, those guys often battle injuries, which is a plus for Washington's fantasy managers. At the same time, the 2019 No. 12 overall pick can produce in other ways outside of the scoring column.
