5 years agoThe Carolina Panthers are expected to sign former XFL quarterback P.J. Walker, according to a source. Walker was one of the stars of the short-lived XFL league while playing for the Houston Roughnecks. He threw for 1,338 yards, 15 touchdowns and only four interceptions in the XFL. The 6-foot QB out of Temple will serve as depth behind Teddy Bridgewater and will compete for a backup job with Kyle Allen and Will Grier in 2020.
