6 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Odubel Herrera (hamstring) and infielder Scott Kingery (hamstring) are getting closer to returns from the injured list. Herrera has been out since April 18 but could be activated and play on Sunday against the Nationals. Kingery ran on Wednesday for the first time since he landed on the injured list on April 19, and he continues to progress. Herrera will return as the regular center fielder, which will push Andrew McCutchen back to left field and Aaron Altherr and Nick Williams back to bench roles. Kingery, who was hitting very well right before his injury, will return to a utility role on the infield at third base and shortstop mainly.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
