Not Much Of A Market For Starlin Castro
5 years agoThe Miami Marlins would love to trade second baseman Starlin Castro in order to make room for prospect Isan Diaz at the keystone, but there's not much of a market for Castro at the moment. The 29-year-old Castro is hitting just .250/.277/.356 on the season with eight home runs, 30 runs and 43 RBI and should only be owned in NL-only leagues as a middle infielder. A trade out of Miami to a contender might mean that Castro is used as an option off the bench. Even if Castro isn't traded, Diaz figures to come up at some point in the second half and see some playing time.
