Norman Powell Ends Two-Game Absence With A 16-Point Effort
3 years agoPortland Trail Blazers guard/forward Norman Powell returned from a two-game absence with 16 points in Thursday's 114-83 loss to San Antonio. He also had four rebounds with one assist, one block and two turnovers in 29 minutes. The 28-year-old posted a decent line, but his shot was way off as Powell went 3-for-13 from the field and made only one two-point shot. He grabbed half of his points with perfect free-throw shooting. The Blazers need much more efficient performances from Powell, with the team currently having a number of absentees. He was performing just fine before getting hurt, so maybe Powell was just rusty on Thursday night.
