Nolan Gorman Taking Reps At Different Positions
4 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals third baseman Nolan Gorman, the team's No. 2 prospect per MLB Pipeline, has been taking repetitions at second base this spring and could see time in the corner outfield spots as well. Gorman was considered the third baseman of the future for St. Louis, but the acquisition of Nolan Arenado left a question mark about Gorman's future. The two Nolans are reportedly already getting along, with Arenado taking on a mentorship role with Gorman. Gorman is just 20 years old and hasn't played above High-A ball, but he's projected to be a force in the middle of the lineup once he develops. A strong Grapefruit League performance could help Gorman make the team, especially since long-time Cardinals second baseman Kolten Wong is now with the Milwaukee Brewers. Gorman is someone to definitely keep an eye on in all formats and is an absolute must-own in dynasty settings.
