3 weeks agoKansas City Chiefs tight end Noah Gray enters his fourth NFL season having never missed a game in his career. Working behind Travis Kelce, Gray caught 28-of-41 targets for 305 yards and a pair of touchdowns last year. But even with Kelce's early injury, Gray never had a top-12 PPR week last season. His catch rate also slipped from 82% in 2022 to 68% last year. And now he'll compete with rookie Jared Wiley for TE2 reps, which should be a taller task than outworking Blake Bell. Travis Kelce insists that his workload won't be managed in his age-35 season but even if it is, KC's improved wide receiver room could leave less for the ancillary TE options.
