No Timetable For Shohei Ohtani To Face Live Pitching
6 years agoLos Angeles Angels designated hitter Shohei Ohtani (elbow) continues to take batting practice at Angel Stadium and is throwing three times a week, but there's no timetable for him to face live pitching. He remains on track to return as the team's DH in May, and he even thinks he might be ready to make his season debut later this month, although that final decision is up to the Angels. The two-way Japanese star won't pitch at all after having Tommy John surgery, but his power and speed combination will be worth owning in all leagues. If he's on your waiver wire, snap him up immediately. His return could mean bad news for Justin Bour.
