No Structural Damage For Brent Honeywell
6 years agoTampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Brent Honeywell had his sore right elbow examined by Dr. James Andrews, and no structural damage was found. Honeywell will remain shut down after recovering from Tommy John surgery, but he should be back in weeks and not months if he responds well to the rest. The right-hander is the team's No. 2 prospect and No. 27 overall, per MLB Pipeline, and should help the club's rotation this year. Keep him stashed in dynasty and AL-only leagues for the time being.
