6 years agoDespite the fact that Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz (knee) hasn't taken part in team drills in five straight practices, head coach Doug Pederson said Friday that it's all part of the plan and that Wentz hasn't had any setbacks. "That's not controlled. The situation is controlled, but the actions are not..." the coach said. "It's still part of the plan. Not going to subject him to that right now." The team is smartly playing it cautious with their franchise QB, and he should be fine for Week 1. Wentz should be viewed as a top-five talent at the QB position, although he is a little more risky coming off a serious knee injury.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
