6 years agoCarolina Panthers head coach Ron Rivera said "there is no doubt" that quarterback Cam Newton (shoulder) will play in Week 8 against the Ravens. Newton didn't throw in the portion of practice open to the media on Thursday, but he remained limited. Baltimore is one of the better defenses in the NFL and allow the second fewest fantasy points per week (13.3) to the QB position, but Newton remains in the low-end QB1 discussion because of his ability to gain yards and points with his legs.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
