Nick Senzel To Play Outfield In Instructional League
6 years agoCincinnati Reds prospect Nick Senzel (finger), the team's top prospect, played second base at Triple-A Louisville this year, shortstop in big league spring training and is in Arizona this week to learn the outfield during the instructional league. The 23-year-old will play in games starting on Oct. 1, and the Reds envision him playing a super-utility role when he comes up next season. Senzel's 2018 season was a bust due to injuries -- he missed almost a month in May with vertigo and then had his season cut short by a right index finger injury. He'll first try his hand in left field this fall. Senzel is the No. 4 overall prospect in baseball and should be stashed in all dynasty/keeper leagues going into next season.
