Nick Senzel Joining Triple-A Louisville
6 years agoCincinnati Reds third baseman/outfielder Nick Senzel (ankle) played seven innings in back-to-back extended spring training games over the weekend and was expected to join Triple-A Louisville for Monday and Tuesday. The club's top prospect sprained his right ankle sliding into second base at the end of March. The 23-year-old will continue to play center field, and the Reds want to see him continue to make progress on defense. Senzel is the No. 5 prospect in all of baseball, but he has struggled to stay healthy in the minors so far, missing the second half of last year with a fractured finger. His bat will play anywhere when healthy, though, making him a must-stash in all fantasy leagues.
