6 years agoCincinnati Reds third baseman/outfielder Nick Senzel (ankle) has been hitting and running the bases and could get into an extended spring training game by the middle of next week. It was believed that Senzel was further off from game action, but it looks like he's been making good progress. The Reds will be cautious with their top prospect, No. 6 overall per MLB Pipeline, and he could join Triple-A shortly. Senzel is expected to eventually become the team's starting center fielder in 2019, and his bat should pay immediate dividends in all fantasy formats.
