Nick Foles Expected To Have Robust Trade Market
6 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles is expected to have a quality and robust trade market in the offseason, according to sources. The Eagles have a decision to make on whether to exercise his $20 million option or franchise tag him. With few free-agent options and a weak class coming out of college, Foles is expected to be the top quarterback available to teams. If Philly exercises Foles' option, he can buy back his freedom for $2 million. After leading the Eagles to an improbable Super Bowl championship last year, it's clear that Foles is by far the best backup QB in the NFL, which means he won't come cheap on the trade market. Depending on where he winds up, Foles could be in the QB1 picture heading into 2019 fantasy drafts.
