Nick Foles Dealing With Muscle Spasms
6 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles (neck) missed his third straight day of practice on Tuesday for precautionary reasons due to muscle spasms in his neck and shoulder area. Foles said the issue isn't serious, and he's considered day-to-day. He's unsure if he'll play in the preseason opener on Thursday against the Steelers, but it's unrelated to the elbow issue he dealt with early last year. Foles was the Super Bowl MVP last year but will open the 2018 season as the backup to Carson Wentz. He's an excellent insurance policy for the Eagles, but he won't have any fantasy value unless Wentz is injured again.
