Nick Chubb To See More Work?
6 years agoCleveland Browns rookie running back Nick Chubb, who had his first career 100-yard game in the Week 4 loss to the Raiders, could be in line for more touches after carrying the ball just three times. Chubb had touchdown runs of 63 and 41 yards in the game and had just seven carries for 41 yards heading into Week 4. "Unbelievable," said head coach Hue Jackson. "He has to get some. Hyde is playing well, but this guy is scoring touchdowns from long ways away. I was impressed. I watched those two touchdowns on tape (Monday), and they were even better than they were on the field." It'll still be hard to predict consistent success for Chubb in a backfield that also includes Carlos Hyde and Duke Johnson, but this is a step in the right direction for the rookie.
