NFL Extends Virtual Offseason
4 years agoNFL teams have been gradually reopening their facilities, but commissioner Roger Goodell announced on Thursday that the league's virtual offseason programs have been extended for two more weeks amid the coronavirus pandemic. However, coaches could be back in team facilities as early as next week. The NFL is working with the Players Association "on developing protocols that will allow at least some players" to return to team facilities before the end of the offseason program. Beginning on Monday, teams can reopen ticket offices, retail shops and other customer-facing facilities as long as they are compliant with state and local regulations.
