Nelson Agholor Dealing With Lower-Body Injury
5 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles head coach Doug Pederson said that wide receiver Nelson Agholor didn't practice in mandatory minicamp this week because of a lower body injury. He also sat out of the final two organized team activity practices open to the media last week. Agholor's absence has allowed for increased repetitions for wide receivers Greg Ward Jr. in the slot and rookie J.J. Arcega-Whiteside behind Alshon Jeffery and DeSean Jackson. Agholor caught 64 passes for 736 yards and four touchdowns in 2018 but may struggle to match those numbers as long as D-Jax stays healthy. Arcega-Whiteside could also push him if he struggles to produce.
