Nationals Not Ready To Bring Up Carter Kieboom
6 years agoWashington Nationals general manager Mike Rizzo said the team isn't ready to call up shortstop prospect Carter Kieboom just yet, and they want him to get repetitions and at-bats at Triple-A Fresno to begin the season. Kieboom is the team's No. 2 prospect and No. 25 overall, per MLB Pipeline. He's only 21 years old but impressed in spring training by hitting .279/.353/.558 with three home runs and nine RBI in 25 games. He also hit .280/.357/.444 with 16 long balls, 69 RBI and nine stolen bases in 123 games with High-A Potomac and Double-A Harrisburg last season. He's a name to monitor in dynasty leagues for the time being.
