Nathan Eovaldi To Start In Game 4
6 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Nathan Eovaldi has been announced as the team's Game 4 starter for the World Series in Los Angeles on Saturday. He was unavailable to start in Game 3 on Friday after pitching two innings of relief in the first two games in Boston. Eovaldi has been lights-out for the Red Sox in the playoffs, allowing three earned runs while walking two and striking out 11 in 16 1/3 innings in five games (two starts). However, he'll face a Dodgers lineup that has feasted on right-handed pitching this season, so he isn't without plenty of risk.
