Nate Sudfeld Undergoes Wrist Surgery
5 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles quarterback Nate Sudfeld underwent surgery on his broken left wrist on Friday morning and is expected to miss about six weeks. Sudfeld fell awkwardly on his arm in Thursday's first preseason game. He was set to be the direct backup for starter Carson Wentz. For now, that job will go to Cody Kessler, but the Eagles may try to add someone else for that role once other teams make roster cuts. Once Sudfeld is back though, he should regain the clipboard role behind Wentz.
