Monte Harrison Injured In Minors
6 years agoMiami Marlins outfielder Monte Harrison (wrist), the team's No. 3 prospect per MLB Pipeline, is dealing with a sore right wrist and is missing the first few games with Triple-A New Orleans. He's not expected to land on the injury list but is likely to face live pitching in practice to test his wrist. The 23-year-old came over to Miami in the trade that sent Christian Yelich to Milwaukee. Harrison hit .240/.316/.399 with 19 home runs, 48 RBI and 28 stolen bases in 136 games with Double-A Jacksonville in 2018. He's a bit of an under-the-radar prospect with a high ceiling down the road.
