3 years agoToronto Maple Leafs right wing Mitchell Marner (shoulder) was placed on Injured Reserve on Tuesday and will miss three to four weeks of action. The talented speedster has already sat two games after getting injured at Friday's practice. The 24-year-old made a slow start to the season, but he had been crushing it since the start of last month with 18 points in 15 games. Wayne Simmonds looks set to ride with Michael Bunting and Auston Matthews on the first line in Tuesday's matchup against Columbus.
