6 years agoBoston Red Sox manager Alex Cora said first baseman Mitch Moreland (hamstring) left as a precaution with a tight hamstring in Game 2 of the American League Division Series against the Yankees on Saturday. It doesn't sound like Moreland is in danger of being replaced on the ALDS roster. If Moreland is back in the lineup for Game 3 on Monday, he'd be facing starter Luis Severino. If the Red Sox don't think he's quite ready, expect to see Steve Pearce manning first base.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
