6 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Mitch Haniger was scratched from the lineup on Wednesday with an illness. Mallex Smith is in center field and is hitting leadoff against Indians starter Carlos Carrasco. Haniger has been very solid so far this year after breaking out in 2018, so hopefully he only misses this one game. Smith is hitting just .219 (14-for-64) with a homer, five RBI, 12 runs and six stolen bases, but he's never a bad daily pick at the top of Seattle's order.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
