Mitch Haniger Rehabbing At Home
5 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Mitch Haniger (back, core) has been doing core exercises for strength and mobility at home after having back and core surgeries in January. Haniger has been the walking wounded the past year, as his 2019 season was ruined by injuries. He played in just 63 games for the Mariners and had a disappointing .220 average with 15 home runs and 32 RBI after being selected to the All-Star team for the first time in 2018. The delayed MLB season is good news for players like Haniger, but there's still no timetable on when he will be able to return to game action. The 29-year-old might still be worth a stash in deep mixed leagues and AL-only formats, but you can ignore him for now in shallow leagues until we have a better idea on when he'll be ready.
