Miles Mikolas Open To Contract Extension
6 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Miles Mikolas said on Sunday that he's open to a possible contract extension before he hits free agency after the 2019 season. He's open to continuing negotiations into the regular season if need be. Mikolas hadn't pitched in the majors since 2014 before last year, and he surprised everyone by going 18-4 with a 2.83 ERA and led the National League with an .818 winning percentage. His big season has put him on the map as a top-25 fantasy starter, although it may be hard for him to match those numbers in 2019.
