5 years agoSan Francisco Giants outfielder Mike Yastrzemski (hand) was hit by a pitch in the seventh inning of Sunday's game against the A's and was forced to leave the game. Yastrzemski didn't seem too concerned about the injury after the game, but the Giants are waiting on the results of X-rays. “Pretty painful. Never fun to take 95 off the hand,” Yastrzemski said, while adding, “It’ll be fine, just a bruise.” Consider him day-to-day for now. Yastrzemski has earned regular playing time by hitting .270/.322/.537, but make sure he's back in the lineup before starting him in deeper leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
