Mike Yastrzemski Not Playing Monday
5 years agoSan Francisco Giants outfielder Mike Yastrzemski (hand) is not in the starting lineup on Monday after being hit by a pitch in the hand on Sunday. The injury isn't believed to be very serious, so there's a chance that Yaz can return as early as Tuesday. He's day-to-day. Austin Slater is in right field and batting second, while Abiatal Avelino is in left and is hitting sixth against Diamondbacks left-hander Alex Young. Slater will be a DFS sleeper in a nice lineup spot against the southpaw. He's hitting .313 (15-for-48) with a homer and seven RBI in August and is also batting .326 in 55 plate appearances versus lefties this year. Avelino has one hit in five at-bats in the bigs this year and should be avoided in DFS.
