5 years agoLos Angeles Chargers wide receiver Mike Williams (knee) missed practice for the second straight day on Thursday. Unless Williams gets in some practice time on Friday, he looks destined to sit out of Week 2 on the road against the Lions. That's bad news for a Chargers offense that discovered that tight end Hunter Henry has a fractured kneecap. If Williams sits out on Sunday, running back Austin Ekeler and wide receiver Keenan Allen should dominate the touches, while Travis Benjamin and Dontrelle Inman would likely accompany Allen in three-wide sets.
