Mike Trout: Could 30 Home Runs Be In Play With Improved Health?
25 mins agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout had another season marred by injury in 2024. Trout has not played more than 120 games since 2019. His high water mark in the last five seasons has been 119 games. In 2024, the former MVP hit .220 with 10 home runs, 14 RBI, 17 runs, and six stolen bases in only 29 games. Trout missed most of the season with two separate surgeries for meniscus tears in the same knee. What can we expect from Trout in 2025? His current ADP of 132 shows that most fantasy players doubt that he can stay healthy enough to provide a valuable return to their teams. Heading into his age 33 season, it appears that Trout would be a safer bet to hit 30 home runs than anything; his days of 20+ stolen bases appear to be over, although he did steal six bags in only 29 games last season. With health and the ability to play games, Trout could hit .250 and return 30 home runs, which would make him a good deal at his current price.
