Mike Minor Holds White Sox To One Run
4 years agoKansas City Royals starting pitcher Mike Minor had his longest and best start of the year so far on Saturday against the Chicago White Sox. Minor pitched seven innings and allowed two hits, two walks and one earned run while striking out seven. It was his first quality start of the year and the first time he's made it past six innings. Through eight starts on the year, Minor is 3-2 with a 5.02 ERA and 1.19 WHIP. He'll look to build off this strong outing on his next trip to the mound on Saturday against the Detroit Tigers.
