Mike Evans Sits Out Meaningless Loss
2 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans didn't play during the Week 18 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons. The superstar wideout sat out as did a majority of the starters as the team already clinched the 4th-seed in the playoffs. He should operate as the primary deep-threat for this offseason during the Wild-Card round against the Dallas Cowboys. Through 15 games, Evans finished with 77 receptions, 1,124 yards, and six touchdowns this season. Those six scores were his lowest total since the 2017 campaign. However, the receptions and yardage remained solid for Evans. He'll continue to have an elite ceiling heading into the postseason.
