5 years agoMinnesota Twins third baseman Miguel Sano (forearm) is listed as day-to-day after leaving the game early on Wednesday after being hit by a pitch. Sano had a strikeout in three plate appearances before his departure. Coming into the game, Sano was hitting .244 (22-for-90) with eight home runs and 19 RBI in 24 games this month. The big third baseman has rebounded this year after hitting an atrocious .199 with only 13 homers last year. Sano won't hit for a high average, but he gives those in mixed leagues plenty of power (26 round-trippers), and he could easily reach the 30-homer mark for the first time in his career.
